Eid Programme
Celebrate Eid ul Fitr!
Little Learners
Children’s Programme
Saturday 30th April, 5.45pm – Surah recitation day
This is the day all children will recite their surahs in the main programme. Children will need to arrive at 5.45pm in 39 Gloucester Road so we can get everyone ready. The surah recitation will start at 6.30pm and will be in the Portakabin. We’re excited to see all parents and family there for this. For this day, we ask that all the girls wear a white hijab and the boys wear a white shirt or khanzu/dishdasha.Â
Sunday 1st May, 5.30pm – Eid Party for all who attended classes
All children that have attended the classes regularly will be getting an Eid present from Mahfil Ali. We have also invited a children’s entertainer to give a performance on this day – suitable for all ages between 4-14! We’re really excited to be welcoming the children for this, again please ensure children are dropped off on time. We ask children to be dropped off in the Portakabin on this day. The other hall will be open for parents to wait in during the party. Â
The main Mahfil programme will start at 7pm with Qur’an and Eid night A’maal – after Iftar we will try to have some Mehndi artists so everyone can put Mehndi for Eid if they wish.
