Changes for Health and the Environment

Plans for this Ramadan

This Ramadan, we have continued to move forward with initiatives to encourage health and to be environmentally friendly. These include:

  • Trash Free Everyday – where we specifically encourage people to bring in their own reusables – and serve food before giving out any disposables.
  • Wholesome and healthier food as much as possible. This will include soup and/or salad with all iftars served
  • Reducing the amount of oil used in our food
  • Vegetarian option always provided – to help us reduce our meat intake
