Zahra Al Alawi

Zahra Al Alawi has graduated from a Media and Television degree at the University of Hertfordshire in England. As well as being personally tutored by Islamic scholars and lecturers, she has been presenting and lecturing globally for over 14 years

Her TV talk show “Woman’s View” on Sky 831 has broadcasted over 300 episodes interviewing a range of women.

 

Zahra has also appeared on British media channels such as BBC, ITV3 and Channel4 speaking on Islamic issues. She has also been quoted in The Telegraph and The Independent news articles. Zahra had a meeting with the British Prime Minister in 2016 at 10 Downing Street where she projected to him the achievements of British Muslim Women.

Shaykh Alireza Bhojani

Dr Ali-Reza Bhojani is a Senior Lecturer in Islamic Studies at the Markfield Institute of Higher Education, Research Affiliate at the University of Oxford, and Lecturer at the Al-Mahdi Institute where he is co-director of the Centre for Intra-Muslim Studies.

Dr Rebecca Masterton

Dr. Rebecca Masterton is a British Islamic scholar, educator, public speaker, academic, author, television presenter, and philosopher of Shia Islam.

 She has over 20 years experience teaching including at the University of London, the Islamic College in London, the Islamic Institute for Postgraduate Studies and the Hawzain Trinidad, as well as lecturing widely at conferences both in Europe, Canada and the United States.

DrMastertongraduated with a BA in Japanese Language and Literature; an MA in Comparative East Asian and African Literature and a PhD in Islamic literature of West Africa, in which she critiqued the effects of secularism and colonialism upon traditional Islamic teachings on the self, from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

Marzia Hassan (LLB, MSW, RSW) is an author, public speaker and marriage and family therapist working with individuals, couples and families.

Dr Shuruq Naguib

 Dr. Shuruq Naguibis a UK-based scholar studying Qur’anicscripture and women’s representation. Egyptian born, she is currently a lecturer in Islamic studies at Lancaster University.
