Shaykh Bahmanpour

Hujjat-ul-Islam Dr Mohammad Saeed Bahmanpour, raised in Iran, studied at Queen Mary College London, the London School of Economics and the Allameh Tabatabai University in Tehran.

Shaykh Arif

Shaykh Arif Abdulhussain founded the Al-Mahdi Institute in 1993, and currently serves as its Director and Senior Lecturer in Usul al-Fiqh and Muslim Philosophy.

Shaykh Alireza Bhojani

Dr Ali-Reza Bhojani is a Senior Lecturer in Islamic Studies at the Markfield Institute of Higher Education, Research Affiliate at the University of Oxford, and Lecturer at the Al-Mahdi Institute where he is co-director of the Centre for Intra-Muslim Studies.

Amina Inloes

Amina Inloes is an American scholar, researcher, educator, public speaker & translator. She has written several books on the subject of Shi’ism

Shaykh Hisham Hellyer

Shaykh Hisham Hellyer is a British scholar and analyst. He writes on the politics of the modern Arab world, religion and politics in Europe and internationally, majority-minority relations, security issues and the Muslim world–West relations.

 

Shaykh Kumail Rajani

Shaykh Kumail Rajani is a Postdoc Research Fellow in Islamic Studies at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies, University of Exeter, working on the Law, Authority and Learning in Shiite Islam (www.lawalisi.eu) project. 

Irfan Siddiq

Irfan Siddiq is the Former British Ambassador to Sudan & Azerbaijan and Deputy Head of Mission in Iraq & Syria.

Dr Elham Shakry

Dr Elham Shakry is Bahraini but was stripped of her citizenship in 2012 with her husband Dr Masoud Jahromi as supporters of human rights. She has taught Social sciences at several universities. She is now the deputy head of Bahrain Forum for Human Rights.

 

Rim Sarah

Rim-Sarah Alouane is a French legal academic and commentator. As a Ph.D. candidate in comparative law at the University Toulouse-Capitole in France, her research focuses on religious freedom, civil liberties, constitutional law, and human rights.

Fatik Al-Rodaini

Fatik Al-Rodaini is a Journalist, Human Rights Activist, Humanitarian worker, and Founder of Mona Relief Yemen charity.

Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur

Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur is the director of the Justice Foundation: Kashmir Institute of International Affairs and President of the World Kashmir Freedom Movement WKFM. 

Dr Ali Al-Ahmed

Dr Ali Al-Ahmed is a Saudi political activist, public speaker, scholar and writer. He is the founder and director of the Institute for Gulf Affairs, an independent think tank in Washington, D.C. He is a regular guest on CBS News, CNN, PBS, Fox News, and Al-Jazeera. 

 

Amandla Thomas-Johnson

Amandla Thomas-Johnson is a London-born journalist based in Dakar, Senegal, covering West Africa.  He is the author of Becoming Kwame Ture, a biography of the civil rights activist formerly known as Stokely Carmichael.

Sabika Abbas

Sabika Abbas is a poet, educator & activist in India. She is the founder of Sar-e-rahguzar: Poetry On The Streets. Her work revolves around gender and Muslim rights. She is the Senior Editor of the South Asian Avant Garde Anthology.

Haleemah Oladamade Ahmad

Haleemah Oladamade Ahmad is a Senior Research Associate and Chief Editor with the Da’wah Institute (DIN), Islamic Education Trust (IET), Minna, Niger State, Nigeria.

This Ramadan, we hope to deliver the spirituality of attending mosque in your own home. We plan the following 

  • ‘Daily Live stream Quran and Dua Iftitah
  • Daily short lecture 
  • Daily Ladies Quran Khaani via online platform
  • Daily Children’s quran tuition via online platform 
  • Meals provided for delivery by our volunteer team to those who are unwell, shielding or vulnerable. Please email info@sicm.com to register for this 
  • Live Aamal nights for Laylatul Qadr nights
  • Charitable donation to the Salaam Centre project, help us to make the project a reality
