Abbasali Merali emigrated from Kenya at the age of 14.

He has been an active community worker and volunteered through charities including supporting people living with dementia and the homeless. He also organises multi-generational sporting festivals to encourage local people to get fitter and healthier whilst promoting sports as a force for social good!

With his background in finance and business, real estate, social care and sports activism, he has recently stepped into politics as part of the Conservative Party.
