Join us as we welcome Dr Miqdad Asaria to discuss “Census Snakes and Ladders“.
The programme will start at 8pm with a games session led by Dr Miqdad Asaria. We will then have Surah Yaseen (for Marhum Aliunnaki Abdul Rasul) followed by Salaat.
This programme will be face to face; given the nature of the games, this will not be live streamed.

Miqdad is a health economist with extensive experience
in both academic and policy making settings. His research interests
include health inequalities, climate change, and health financing with a
particular focus on the health systems in India and the UK. He
currently holds a fellowship from The Health Foundation to investigate
the contribution of austerity policies to racial and socioeconomic
health inequalities. He employs methods from health econometrics, social
epidemiology, micro-simulation modelling, and cost-effectiveness
analysis in his research.
Prior to working at LSE, Miqdad has
worked with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in India, the
Centre for Health Economics at the University of York and the Department
of Health in the UK. He has also consulted widely for a range of
governments and international organisations and serves on advisory
groups for government bodies, non-governmental organisations and
academic research projects.
