Shaykh Ahmed Haneef is a Canadian Shia scholar who studied both in Canada’s classical university system and in the traditional Hawza Ilmiyya system in Qom, Iran.

He studied political science, psychology and social work at York University and McMaster University and specialised in Islamic philosophy in Hawza Ilmiyyain Qom, Iran.
