Julian Bond is Chronicling a deep engagement and entanglement of Christianity and Islam. During this time Julian, as well as heading the Christian Muslim Forum, wrote both Jumbled up in Jerusalem (retelling the story of Jesus) and How to Read the Quran (a guide for those who aren’t sure about it!). His deep experiences include: i’tikaf in Nottingham, dialogue in the desert with scholars and sitting at the back of mosques all round England, plus apparently having over 500 Muslim friends on Facebook.
He was born, and mostly educated, in Wales. He was a Christian for 45 years. He currently works for the Methodist Church and funding sensitive faith-sharing initiatives.
