Join us as we commemorate the tragedy of Karbala and reflect on the life of Imam Husayn (AS).
For the first 4 nights, we welcome Dr. Ali Reza Bhojani who will speak to us on “An ethics of responsibility & criticism in light of Hussain ibn Ali”.
The children’s programme takes place everyday from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. Children will register and have an hour teaching session with an activity. There will be two groups – one for 4-7 year olds and one for 8-11 year olds. To sign up for the classes, please go to: sicm.org.uk/muharram-kids. You must register your child to attend.
Ali-Reza Bhojani is a Teaching Fellow in Islamic Ethics and Theology at the University of Birmingham where he is programme lead for the MA in Islamic Studies.
