Ramadan 1443
Children’s Ramadan Programme
“Learn the Holy Qur’an for it is the best narration, and grasp it for it is the spring of the heart, and heal yourselves with its light for it is a remedy for the chests, and master its recitation for it is the most beneficial of accounts.” Â
Welcome to the SICM Ramadan childrens programme 2022. We have so many exciting and uplifting activities planned for this holy month!
Daily Learning
Daily Childrens’ Classes
This month of Ramadan, we will once again be providing daily children’s classes at Mahfil inshAllah. These classes have been a great success over the years, and we are very pleased to be providing them once again this year. The classes aim to teach children about Islam, help them with their recitation and memorisation of the Qur’an, help improve their connection with the Qur’an and gives them a great opportunity to make good Muslim friends.
The classes will be split into 3 age groups, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-14. They will run daily from 6pm to 7pm, and will be structured as follows:
6.00 – 6.30: Qur’an recitation
6.30 – 7.00: Taught class
If you’re interested in your child attending daily, a few days a week, or even on just a few occasions during the month, please register your children below.
Monthly Challenge
Qur’an Memorisation
As with previous years, we will also be inviting children to memorise a new Surah from the 30th Juz this holy month. They will then have the opportunity to recite this from memory during our recitation of the 30th Juz as part of the main program on the last day of Ramadan. We invite them to choose a surah they don’t know yet. They can start memorising this at home from now until the end of the month, and we will help and encourage them during the daily classes. If you are interested in your children memorising a surah this holy month, please indicate which sur’ah they’d like to memorise in the daily class registration form.
