Shaykh Nuruis currently the resident Aalimat the KSIMC of Birmingham, and the lady Khadija Visiting Fellow in Shi’I Studies at the Woolf Institute, Cambridge. He is also Co-Chair of Citizens UK in Birmingham, and Head of Islamic and Culture affairs at Coej. He is a former visiting lecturer at the TangazaUniversity College in Nairobi, Kenya, founded the Ummu Abeeha Empowerment Centre in Kumasi, Ghana and co-founded the ImamiyaIslamic Research Centre in Johannesburg.
Shaykh Ayub Rashid has a Degree in Islamic Studies and a Masters in Islamic and Community Studies. He also teaches Islamic Studies and Arabic in various institutions in the UK. Shaykh Ayubis a Director of Bilal Cultural Centre in East London.
Moriam Grillo is an award winning Artist, Artist Psychotherapist and creative producer working to raise the voices of hidden groups and the disadvantaged. She is also a lecturer at Hertfordshire University and Researcher on the notion of Identity and Belonging for People of Colour living in a Eurocentric context. Moriam is interested in creating spaces the promote anti racism and has recently curated a series of webinars exploring race, racisms and racialised experience.
Haneefah Muhammad, a soul-based Coach, Social Worker, Speaker focussing on Mental Health and Recovery. Author and Performance poet exploring Relationships, Spirituality, Race and Social Justice. Involved in local groups promoting women’s self-development and emotional wellbeing.
