Madiha is the Head of WF Aid and holds a wealth of experience, both within international development and humanitarian response. She has worked with a variety of international NGOs, including United Nations Association, Islamic Relief, Malaria Consortium, Swedish Development Advisers and most recently, Muslim Aid.

In addition, Madiha has valuable on-the-ground experience and has visited many countries affected by war, disease or natural disaster. In the last few years she worked in Lesvos, Greece during the refugee crisis, she has visited Mosul in Iraq two days after liberation, Cox’s Bazar, Jordanian and Lebanese refugee camps and Syria multiple times to assist internally displaced Syrians affected by the war. At the end of 2018 she returned from delivering humanitarian aid to those affected by the tsunami and earthquake in Indonesia. Madiha was also involved in Muslim Aid’s UK based advocacy work with regard to Grenfell and Gender justice.

Madiha is based in London and completed her BSc in International Politics from City University, London and a Masters in International Development from SOAS, London
